1st place winner Dennis "Cowboy" Guthrie drew the 2nd singer spot. He sang
Unchain My Heart in the first round and sang We've Got Tonight in the
second round. Dennis won $1,000 cash.
2nd Place winner Liz Holmes drew the 9th singer spot. She sang At
Last in the first round and Mambo Italiano in the second round. Liz
also did a costume change in for the second round. Liz won $200 cash.
3rd Place winner was Jason Hormann who drew the 8th spot. He sang
Amazed in the first round and Pour Some Sugar On Me for the second
round. Jason actually had supporters that came up and poured sugar on
him during the song. Jason won $100 cash.
4th Place winner was Tabby Graham who drew the 13th spot. She sang
Broken Wing for her first round and sang Why Haven't I Heard From You
for her second round.
5th Place winner was Mark Coffman who drew the 14th spot. He sang
When I Call Your Name for the first round and sang Crying for the
second round.
All in all it was a great show and I am really proud of all 14 of our
finalists. I am also so glad to have such great help in putting on
this contest series. All of our KJ's have done a great job for the
last 12 weeks. Dave Fogel from Star 102 was our MC and did a
wonderful job.
The top five singers all won a one of a kind red Ultimate DJ and
Karaoke T-shirt, so if you see them out and about you will know who
they are. Darrell Boyer from Chanel 9 was our camera man and we will
also produce a DVD of the show to give to all of our finalists.
